PBI was an amazing experience. The staff was courteous and helpful. They listened and always tried to help if possible. The whole place is devoted to helping you recover and learn to live with being an alcoholic or addict. The grounds are clean and well taken care of. The food is delicious with lots of variety, and the trips off the grounds (once you’re out of detox) provide support, entertainment, and exercise. They hold a community meeting once a week to address the concerns of the clients as well as individual concerns as needed. An amazing place that helped me get my life back. I will always be grateful.

I have to say PBI is by the far the nicest detox center I have ever been to! It’s very clean and comfortable, it was so nice to be in an actual bedroom with a bathroom in the room. They were great at getting and giving me the medications I needed to properly detox and to help me feel as comfortable as possible! And the meals were delicious! I loved that they had a soda machine as well! Everyone was very kind and encouraging!! I am still sober today and I thank PBI for helping me get there!

I attended PBI when I was struggling with addiction. It was one of my first experiences with trying to get help. The staff was caring and comforting, the intake from out of state was smooth. They set me up with transportation and a lot of medical attention and emotional support. They seemed to care about my overall well-being and they offered a lot of fun activities.
